Was born today, Thursday, December 23, at 7:24pm. She was 7lbs, 4oz and was 21 inches long. Lisa thought her water broke about 3:00am. My pops came and picked up the kids and they are going to spend the night at pop-pop's house. We spent as much time at home and finally ended up going into the hospital in the afternoon. When we were admitted they did the normal, "when was your last contraction, how far apart are they, when did your water break, etc...". After answering all the qeustions the mid-wife arrived about 4:30ish and checked Lisa. Her water had NOT broken and she was approximately 8cm dialated and her contractions were about every 7-8 minutes apart. We waited awhile and then around 6:00 the midwife broke her water hoping to speed up the process. She checked Lisa again at about 7:00 and she was 10cm so she had Lisa start to push. At 7:24 Alesha made her entrence! She's got lots of hair and has lungs to rival Rebekah . I've got some pictures to post so check back soon! |
